Features
Everything below works today. PrimeCrux is built for Nigerian schools, from nursery to secondary, and works on phones and laptops.
Setup from a ready-made start
- Pick your school type and start from a ready-made setup: session, terms, classes, arms and subjects.
- Grading that fits your school: assessment components, weights, grade bands, rounding and pass marks, with a live preview.
- Every change to a grading setup is kept as a new version, so results already submitted keep the rules they used.
Staff
- Invite teachers and administrators by email with their role, classes and subjects.
- Resend or revoke invitations, change roles and classes, and suspend people who leave.
- The owner can never be locked out or removed by mistake.
Students and parents
- Add students one by one, or import them from Excel or CSV with column matching and a preview before anything is saved.
- Parents are shared between brothers and sisters, so their details are entered once.
- Download student and staff lists when you need them.
Score entry on any phone
- Teachers see only the classes and subjects they teach.
- Totals and grades appear as they type, and marks save on their own, even on a weak network.
- Absent and Excused are one tap away; a sheet can be submitted only when every mark is in.
Review and publishing
- See what is missing for each class, subject and student before you publish.
- Approve or return a sheet with a note. By default the person who submitted cannot approve their own sheet.
- Publish a class in one step. After that, changes need a correction with a reason, approved by someone else, and kept in the history.
Report cards
- Report cards carry your school's logo and colour, with charts that compare each subject with the class average and show earlier terms. They are frozen when they are issued.
- Every report card has a QR code and a short code anyone can check on the verify page.
- An approved correction issues a new version and marks the old one as replaced.
Attendance and behaviour
- Teachers take a daily register, morning and afternoon, and a missed register never counts as an absence.
- Class teachers rate behaviour and skills on a scale your school sets, and the ratings appear on the report card.
- Attendance totals and ratings are frozen on the card when it is issued.
Parents
- Parents get a private link by email, or by text when the school has only a phone number.
- They confirm a one-time code and see only their own children's published report cards.
- Your staff see who was told and can send a link again.
Your school today
- One summary for the owner and principal: the term clock, what needs attention, and score entry by class.
- Remind teachers about unfinished score sheets with one tap.
- See how many students are at or above the pass mark, and how many parents you can reach.
